Hum Dekhenge is a popular Urdu ghazal written by the Faiz Ahmed Faiz.[1] It was known for its rendition by Iqbal Bano.[2] The poem is considered Faiz's passionate Urdu anthem.
Faiz Ahmed Faiz wrote this poem for the end of Military rule in Pakistan. It was first performed in 1985 by Iqbal Bano in Lahore at a concert attended by 50,000.[3]
